My color-ful and saturated photographic style focuses on illuminating the subject in several layers of colored light while capturing the vibrancy. The advanced pro camera system of the iPhone 12 Pro Max captures HDR (High Dynamic Range) images closer to the colors seen in nature as well as vibrant studio lighting. That wide-range-of-color and brightness (luminance) can be captured in HDR photography muuuuuuuch better, making the colors pop and appear so vibrant!
For example, whether itβs the sun or a desk lamp, a non-HDR camera would either overexpose the image (washed out photo) or under-expose (dark photo). With HDR, it is possible to capture both bright and dark parts of a scene, then pick and choose which exposure and luminance to apply to the image to obtain a nicer photo of the scene & subject.
Ever since photography has existed (mid-1800s), photographers were required to pick a specific exposure when capturing photos. The wrong exposure would make the photo too bright, or too dark. Having to decide on final exposure at shooting time made it very complicated to capture images in high-contrast situations. HDR provides a way to capture the scene, without having to decide on a specific exposure right away allowing exposure to be selected at a later time ideal for the final image.

Rose Colored is the name!β And I have a whole cascade of lights in my ambient-lit studio, along with colored lights, black lights, and hand-held light wands and lamps. We produce a variety of colorful and vibrant neon-tastic shots while in studio. My multi colored camera set up is ready to go, to get brilliant and unique shots! After all, great lighting makes all the difference.

Watching the story of the Magic Pencil by Pidgin Doll, helps remind me what it is to have fun and find your full artistic expression as a professional artist. My set up is based in traditional commercial trainingβ while my lighting and color editing are enhanced by my free spirited expression of multiple sources of color for each shot. The oscillating colors in Rose Coloredβs multi-point-colored-light set up is meant to provide more opportunities with color, color shadows, vibrant saturation, enriched by in-camera photo tricks and flares to create that sense of photographic film nostalgia.

Turn around for final photo delivery is 8 to 12 weeks in the Rose Colored Style. Extensions will be communicated if needed. Gallery will be shared via Google Drive.
